Using Pagealiases

Using pagealiases in the tree is available at knowledgeroot 0.9.8!

To use this feature you need use the rewriteengine of apache. For this you need to create a htaccess or should configure it globaly in your apache.

You need the following things in the htaccess:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^[^/]*\.html$ index.php
That rewrite rule makes it possible to use static links like hello.html.

The second thing you must do is to configure knowledgeroot to generate static links. For that you must change some vars in the config file. You need to set it like:
$CONFIG['pagealias']['use'] = "1";
$CONFIG['pagealias']['rights'] = "2";
$CONFIG['pagealias']['static'] = "1";
With that config admin users can create aliases for tree elements. You can set aliases at page creation or if you edit a page.

At this point knowledgeroot will create static links in the tree if a pagealias is set for the tree element.
